The following Detachment Regulations are hereby published to supersede all previous orders issued prior to this date.

2. Bulletin Board: The bulletin board will be located directly outside of the Detachment Headquarters. It will be the duty of every soldier of this command to check daily on all posted orders and assignments. Failure to read the bulletin board will not be considered as an alleviating circumstance for any non-performance of duties.

5. Clothing: a. Initial Allowance. - Every soldier of this detachment will be required to have in his possession at all times, the following items of clothing and equipment - in serviceable condition:

9. Gambling: Gambling of any description within the post limits is strictly prohibited. Card playing privileges within the Service Club are limited to soldiers of this post only. Noncommissioned officers will not participate in games with privates. Men on duty in wards are strictly forbidden to participate in games of any description with patients.

12. Noise: Unnecessary noise in and around barracks is prohibited at all times. Men entering barracks after lights out will do so quietly and in opening and closing lockers take the necessary precautions not to disturb those who are asleep.

13. Passes: Subject to good behavior each enlisted man of this command will be given a special privilege card which will allow him to leave the post at any time when off duty. In the event that this is rescinded it will be necessary for the soldier to secure a pass at all times before leaving the Reservation. Passes for longer than twenty-four hours will be applied for at the Detatchment Office and will in all cases be written.

14. Patients: Soldiers of this Detachment are prohibited from engaging in financial dealings with hospital patients or from accepting valuables of any description for safe keeping.

22. Uniforms: The following uniform regulations are prescribed for this Detachment.

a. Garrison.

(1) Service Uniform, Wool: (To be worn at all times unless excepted below).

Shirt, O.D.
Tie, black
Coat, O.D.
Breeches and leggins, O.D., or O.D. slacks.
Shoes, garrison or service (low cut tan shoes may be worn with slacks)
Leather belt, russet.
Service ribbons, optional.

(2) White Uniform: (For duty in the Professional Service, Mess and Post Exchange).
Coat, white
Trousers, white
Cap, service
Cap, and shirt, Bakers and Cooks, white (prescribed for Bakers and Cooks on duty)
Shoes, either garrison, white; or suitable low cut.

(3) Fatigue Uniform: (For duty in ware houses, shops, and general fatigue)

Coat, denim
Trousers, denim
Shirt, O.D.
Shoes, garrison or service.

b. Field Duty.
(1) Service Uniform, Wool: (For all formations including inspections, drill and class instruction).
In accordance with Paragraph a, subparagraph 1, above, excepting that the campaign hat and O.D. shirt combination may be substituted for the service cap, O.D. shirt and O.D. coat, in accordance with orders to be issued by Detachment Headquarters from time to time.

c. General Regulations: The complete uniform as prescribed will be worn.
Service hats will be worn only in inclement weather with rain-coat (Quartermaster issue) or when directed to be worn for instruction and inspection.
The wearing of the cotton O.D. uniform is prohibited with the exceptoin of the shirt.
Soldiers of this Detachment will, as a matter of routine, wear rubber heels on all shoes.
The wearing of the white uniform outside of the Hospital limits is prohibited except at the Presidio Y.M.C.A. and while on ambulance calls.
Civilian clothing may be worn only when on pass and when off the post. This will include an outer shirt, tie and coat or sweater. Men wearing athletic clothes are excluded from this provision.
Men on duty in offices wherein O.D. uniform is required are permitted to wear white shirts and collars.
The wearing of the white uniform by personnel other than those designated in paragraph a, subparagraph 2, above, is prohibited.
